Based on the Koru Mindfulness courses created at Duke University, the Mindfulness for Stress Resilience four-week evidence-based courses provide experience with mindfulness techniques to help manage stress and access greater inner resources for equilibrium and clarity. The Basic and Advanced courses combine instruction, ongoing reflection, guided practices and the Koru app to help you begin or strengthen your mindfulness practice. Instructor support is provided throughout both courses.

Week 1: Belly Breathing, Dynamic Breathing (online only), Body Scan
Week 2: Walking Practice, Gatha
Week 3: Guided Imagery, Labeling Thoughts
Week 4: Eating Practice, Labeling Feelings
Mindfulness for Stress Resilience Advanced Techniques:
Week 1: Ocean Breath, Chair Yoga, Labeling Practice
Week 2: Dynamic Breathing (online only), Chair Yoga, Loving Kindness
Week 3: Silent Retreat, Chair Yoga, Walking Meditation, Wisdom Talk
Week 4: Breath Awareness, Chair Yoga, Labeling Thoughts or Feelings
